The myth of talent is a common concept in the creative community.  Stories abound of born geniuses like Mozart or Picasso.  The truth as explained by TCW instructor Ty Templeton is liberating.  According to Ty talent is a “skill” like anything else and can be learned.  This essential belief is what makes Ty a brilliant instructor who passionately believes he can teach anyone the basic skills necessary for writing and drawing comics.  Check out the below audio and video samples to hear Ty talk more about this (***Note: Samples may contain strong language.
