Drawing the Human Figure from Memory

Instructor: Ty Templeton

In this course you will learn the essential skills that will allow you to construct and render the drawn human figure figure from memory. This learning process will be divided into three parts. The first will be the development of the working model mannequin.  The second takes the initial mannequin and fleshes it out with appropriate musculature and features.  Finally the skin will be articulated over the muscles and clothing and drapery will be placed on the figure. By the end of the course each student will have the requisite skills and confidence to create their own dynamic poses from imagination that will serve them well in the areas of drawing for the comic book page, animation, storyboarding or illustration.
