			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As we continue to explore the possibilities of using technology in the creation of modern comic art, the Comic Book Lounge and Guerilla Printing, in coordination with Autodesk and the TCW, will be opening our doors on Sunday, February 10th (as part of the Comic Book Lounge&#8217;s 1st Anniversary Events) to a series of drawing demonstrations and talks to show you what is available, and what the Sketchbook Pro software is capable of doing for you.</p>
<p>Date: Sunday, February 10</p>
<p>Time: 12 &#8211; 5 pm</p>
<p>Location: 587A College Street</p>
<p>Cost: FREE!</p>
<p><em>Autodesk has sponsored the event and will be providing hardware and software for use in the drawing demonstrations.</em></p>

INDUSTRY PROGRAMMING ANNOUNCED!</strong><br />
There is still time to register for <strong>TIFF Kids</strong> and <strong>TIFF Next Wave</strong>. Together these festivals represent the evolution of the Sprockets International Film Festival for children and youth. <a href="http://tiff.net/tiffkids" target="_blank">TIFF Kids (April 10th – 22nd)</a> will celebrate content for children ages 3 to 13 through an informed selection of films, relevant industry programming and innovative interactive spaces and media platforms. Likewise <a href="http://tiff.net/nextwave" target="_blank">TIFF Next Wave (May 10th &#8211; 12th)</a> will screen a selection of films that engage youth between the ages 14 to 18. Both festivals will provide a rare opportunity for industry professionals to screen films that kids and teens from around the world will soon be lining up to see.</p>
<p>Industry professionals who wish to take advantage of this valuable and unique opportunity will need to register for the following pass:</p>
<p><strong>TIFF Kids &amp; Next Wave Industry Pass<br />
Price: $60 (tax included)</strong></p>
<p><strong>TIFF Kids Access</strong></p>
<p>- Allocation of 5 advanced tickets, available on a first come, first served basis<br />
- Allocation of 3 tickets (1 per screening) on the day of the screening, available on a first come, first served basis<br />

- Access to TIFF Nexus&#8217; New Media Literacies Conference (Priority to Nexus delegates)<br />

<p><strong>Note: </strong>It is important that you register for your <strong>TIFF Kids &amp; Next Wave Industry Pass</strong> early, as advanced tickets become available on March 15th for registered industry professionals. Online registration will close April 5th. You will be able to register onsite up until April 20th. Be warned that if you decide to register onsite you may encounter unpredictable wait times. The same registration deadlines apply to those who only plan to use their pass to attend TIFF Next Wave.</p>

<p><strong>Industry Programming Announced!</strong></p>
<p>Registered industry professionals who attend TIFF Kids will have access to a variety of Industry events and initiatives during the festival.</p>

- Registered professionals will be able to redeem one ticket for the Master Class and each Panel Discussion on their pass, starting <strong>March 15 </strong><br />
- Special conditions apply to our Roundtable Sessions, for which delegates need to pre-register starting in late March.</p>

TIFF Nexus&#8217; New Media Literacies Conference</strong></p>
<p>In conjunction with Industry Programming, the TIFF Nexus conference on New Media Literacy will take place on April 20th with a focus on children and youth. The event will bring together cross-sector media makers, academics, educators and industry delegates to explore issues and trends in order to foster new relationships and further emerging modes of literacy in youth-oriented media production.</p>

<p>Not only will audiences take over all five cinemas and learning studios of TIFF Bell Lightbox, but for the first time our HSBC gallery space will be transformed into the TIFF Kids digiPlaySpace—an interactive playground where children will learn, laugh and be entertained by emerging creative technologies and innovative media experiences.</p>
<p>All registered industry professionals will be able to redeem one ticket to this event from their pass. The ticket will be for a one hour time allotment.</p>
